At the first day of the 2014 Spikes Festival, Weber Shandwick's Jye Smith and Moska Najib spoke with Aseem Puri, regional brand director, Fabric Cleaner, at Unilever, and Charles Cadell, president, Asia Pacific, at McCann Worldgroup, about whether ad agencies are able to meet client's changing expectations around advertising and content.

Cannes Lions is the world's largest festival and awards programme for the advertising and media industry. They are also one of the investors of Spikes Asia, the company I joined in Singapore. In the year of 2014, one of the Awards Managers had to go on a maternity leave, and wasn't able to manage the judging and awards show for that year. The Lions team flew me from Singapore to Cannes to manage the judging process for the Creative Effectiveness Awards, working closely with a jury made of the brightest minds from the advertising industry - it was quite an experience!
